What is Occupational Therapy?

$0.00

Occupational Therapy is a service provided by an occupational therapist to help individuals develop, regain and/or maintain the "occupation" that they need for everyday function in their life. This may include play skills, school tasks, work responsibilities, upper and lower body dressing, feeding abilities, social skills, emotional regulation and so much more. The goal of occupational therapy is to improve our clients independence, confidence and overall quality of life. Just as "sonset" represents a transition, occupational therapy is a time to rebuild new skills while gaining confidence and moving forward into new beginnings. We see all ages from early childhood to late adulthood for occupational therapy services.
