Good Faith Estimate
-
Under federal law, individuals who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance to pay for their care have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining the expected cost of their health care services.
-
A Good Faith Estimate is a written estimate of the expected cost of your health care services. It helps you understand the anticipated cost of your care before services are provided.
-
If you schedule services at least 3 business days in advance, you will receive a Good Faith Estimate as required by law. You may also request a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling services.
-
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate from a provider or facility, you may be eligible to dispute the bill through the federal patient-provider dispute resolution process.
Please keep a copy of your Good Faith Estimate for your records.
-
Please contact Sonset Therapy. We are happy to answer questions regarding the expected cost of your occupational therapy services and provide a Good Faith Estimate.
